This was the perfect ending to a great dinner and memorable evening with friends that were visiting from Italy. The berries with the mascarpone was light and just sweet enough. It was easy to prepare ~ everyone was asked for the recipe!

This is a lovely dessert. The meringue is a must--it's crunchy and perfect with the creamy mascarpone and sweet berries.

This was a delicious dessert! I made it for a group of people, and everyone loved it. Berries are a little on the expensive side, so if I make it again it will just be with berries that are on sale or bought for cheap at a farmers market or u-pick farm.

This was good - the family really liked it. Don't sweat the meringue cookies - I used ornage Milano cookies and it was fantastic.

This is a great desert when you don't want something too heavy. Allot of times I just used strawberries and blueberries due to budget and its still wonderful. I have used 1/2 the sugar required and is also still good. I would definitely recommend this recipe!!!

I prepared this dessert for a dinner party and it was a huge hit! I was pleasantly surprized with the sweetness of the mascarpone topping; I expected it to be sweeter but it turned out perfect. I used short bread cooking for the topping which added a little extra sweetness.

I wish I had found amaretti cookies instead of the meringe ones from Harris Teeter. I wonder if this would have made a difference?

I make this all the time for pot-lucks and holidays. I never have any left.

OMG! This is so good. Everyone gobbled it up. I never had mascarpone cheese before- now a big fan. Creamy and yet so light and the berries make you think you are eating a healthy dessert.
