What a simple and delectable, light, airy sweet tooth satisfier! I noticed this recipe on a show that aired qiute a few months ago, and wrote it down, but I'm very glad to have it so handy, and with pictures! Thanks, Giada!

I thought this was fantastic, and my wife described it as "Heavenly". I had to cook it almost 15 minutes longer than the recommended time in order to get the top to begin browning and the center done (and my oven is pretty accurate. We also added a powdered sugar and milk (aka donut glaze since many reviewers said it wasn't sweet enough. It turned out great - very soft, moist and flavorful. We used challah bread that I toasted slightly in the oven before adding to the custard mixture. We also used low-fat ricotta and skim milk.

It was very easy to do and absolutely delicious. I left it in the fridge overnight and baked it in the morning. I like to have it with a little maple syrup. My boyfriend and I loved it both as breakfast and as dessert.

It was very easy to do, I did what she did on the show, I used a loaf of bread instead of the 4 slices. I also added some maple syrup and it was great. I left it in the fridge overnight and baked it in the morning. My boyfriend and I loved it both as breakfast and as a dessert. :

I would add a little more bread next time and pack it really tight. This is most def in the category of bread pudding. It would be super with some maple syrup or honey drizzled all over it as a finish of sweetness. We all loved it. I made it in place of pumkin pie on thanksgiving and it got great reviews.
