I made this recipe using fresh rasberries. It was delicious! I added cherry
Tomatoes, and crumbled feta cheese. Everyone liked it!

I thought this was awful. I served it at a dinner party and was very disappointed and embarrassed. Nobody liked it. It really was too sweet. Normally I love Giada's recipes but give this one a pass.

Nice, light, refreshing salad. We added a boiled egg & sliced red pear. I enjoyed the raspberries, which I've never had in a salad before.

If you make this salad according to the recipe it serves much more than 4-6 people. 1 large head of Bibb lettuce is going to serve only 4-6 people? Maybe if this is the main dish.
I didn't care for the vinaigrette. Doesn't vinaigrette usually have oil & vinegar? It was too sweet for me.
I tried to toast the pumpkin seeds per the instructions, but it didn't seem to toast them. Instead I toasted them in a frying pan over a medium heat on the stove top. Worked just fine.
Although I don't get the point of toasting pumpkin seeds if they just get wet & soggy from the vinaigrette. My suggestions is to not toss the pumpkin seeds in with the salad, rather sprinkle them on top.

Very yummy salad! Nice and light. Next time I will try adding some feta or avocado for a little more creaminess.

Didn't make the salad, by the dressing was delicious. Simple and tasty. Better than anything from a bottle.

I brought this salad to a holiday party and it was very well received! I liked the recipe because it was simple, had few ingredients, and was beautiful arranged on a large platter. Be careful when making the dressing- I measured the raspberries after they had thawed instead of before which resulted in too many raspberries and a very tart, thick dressing which I had to thin out with more olive oil and sweeten with more honey. I am confident that had I measured the raspberries before they thawed, that the dressing would have come out perfect. I highly recommend trying this one out!
