This drink was soooo good, I didn't want to share, but I did! Everyone loved it. Had it on a hot Atlanta day...95 degrees and it was refreshing. Icy cold and sweet, just the way we southerners like our drinks! Thanks Giada, you rock!

I only added about 1/3 of the simple syrup the recipe called for. This was amazing. You could probably cut it back to a 1/4 on the simple syrup. Just the right amount of sweetness. Everybody loved this drink at my party. I will make this again soon. Thanks Giada....!!!!

We have enjoyed Mojitos for quite some time now. Classic favorites are lime, mango and now cherry! Like others have mentioned before, reduce the amount of the simple lime syrup, and you will have a winner! Thanks for a nice twist on an already good drink! CHEERS!!!

I couldn't wait to try making this after watching her episode, & the drinks did not disappoint. Since there were only 2 of us, I halved the recipe. The only change I made was to use slightly more than half a pound of frozen cherries. The cherries tasted great & refreshing with the lime & mint. I served the mojitos with crushed ice to keep them extra cold. We were happy that the drink still tasted like a mojito!

Thanks for the heads up on the sweetness. We also had to substitute canned sweet cherries for the frozen but it worked. Thanks again

My boyfriend and I loved these. However, I agree with the other reviewers that they were WAAAYYY too sweet, even with less simple syrup than the recipe called for. I made another batch with mangos and used just 1/2 cup and that was about right for me. I definitely prefer the cherry though.

My husband and I watched this episode and went straight to the store for the ingredients..we LOVE mojitos..this was a nice twist on it but VERY sweet..way too sweet for us..so, i compensated by adding LOTS more rum and squeezed in another lime..next time i will use WAY less simple syrup..it was very yummmy..

This is a wonderful combination of cherries and mint. It's a little sweet, but it works! Thanks Gaida
