YOU MUST MODIFY THIS RECIPE!!! I can only give it 2 stars because although the concept is good, as others have said, you absolutely MUST add more than 1c of seltzer to make it drinkable. I tried it several ways...with some sprite (too sweet, and with a mix of limoncello, absolut citron and seltzer. It was pretty good that way. It has the potential to be a refreshing summer cooler, but you have to play with it!

My Aunt and Uncle were in town and I served this with a mushroom appetizer
I was an absolute hit. I used more than a cup of seltzer water as the limoncello
was strong but eatting the blueberries after. Delicious

I should have read the reviews before making this. You definitely need to use, at least, the whole bottle of sparkling water. It looks much better than it tastes.

This looked like the perfect pre-dinner cocktail for a summer dinner party, but I changed it a bit based upon the reviews and my own taste.
I served it in small glasses, but I added vodka and used 1 part vodka to 1 part limoncello and then 1 part of the sparkling water. It cut down on the sweetness dramatically and wasn't so strong (b/c of the small glasses for a pre-dinner drink. The blueberries don't add much flavor to the drink, but you can really smell the mint and overall makes the drink look really pretty.

I made this for my husband as an after work refreshing cocktail, but it was so sweet and overly limoncello flavored he couldn't drink it. I agree with the other reviewers that it needs a whole bottle of the soda water to make it refreshing.

We make our own limoncello: infuse vodka with lemon zest and add symple syrup. I find it is much better to make the symple syrup with 1/2 the amount of sugar instead of equal amounts. It cuts way back on the sweetness and is much more enjoyable to drink.

This cooler tok me out of my comfot zone. My cocktail party
great. The colors was attractive and the drink was refreshing.
I served this drink in a small glass. I had 10 people and the small glasses just started the evening out for the rest of my food.

This is NOT meant to be punch served in iced tea glasses like lemonade. This is definitely a cocktail to be served in small rocks glasses over ice and sipped, think lemoncello cosmo. It is very bright and fresh tasting. Living in FL, I think it makes a perfect appetizer companion!

It is amazing that people rate this drink with four stars when none of them liked it when they followed the actual recipe. The drink is overly sweet to the point that you can't choke down more than a sip or two. Diluting the recipe really doesn't help that much. Clearly, limoncello liquor is an acquired taste.
