This was a great change to the normal scrambled eggs we have every Saturday morning. Although, Foccacia bread was impossible to find in my grocery stores,( I checked 4 stores I improvised and used a potato Rosemary. It was very good, but I will be searching for the right bread for my next attempt at this recipe. It is great when your house smells so good early in the morning.

I made this for Mother's Day and my whole family loved it. Mascarpone has a lot of calories (and fat, but was a great treat for this occasion. The lemon made it taste very light.

    Totally awesome!
Used whole milk instead of cream.

I used ready made pie dough instead of pizza dough. Then I didn't use vanllia bean. I used two teaspoons vallia extract and mixed with the cheese. I also used sour cream instaed of heavy cream. My family loved the pizza.

This is one of my favorite recipes I have tried. The mascarpone cheese is good, but not as sweet as my liking. I made it a second time with a mixed berry whipped cream cheese instead. This is less expensive and less fattening, but sweeter. Either way, it is wonderful and I would definately recommend it!

I actually tried this recipe with the pizza dough and also with just a plain toasted bagel. Both were delicious. Giada saves the day again!...er... the morning!!
    Gratzi Giada!

Very yummy recipe. The fresh fruit is so refreshing. The mascarpone cheese was suprisingly wonderful especially with the lemon flavor. One cup of mascarpone cheese would be just as tasty. I used crescent rolls for the crust and it was nice and moist and very desert like. Couldn't find the vanilla bean, used extract instead. Wonderful recipe!
