So easy and what a wonderful taste. Can't wait to make it when guests come for brunch! I didn't have Gruyere so I used a 5 blend Italian cheese and it was great. I may try it with Canadian Bacon sometime!

This is very easy and packed with a lot of flavor! A few of the ingredients were kind of expensive -- but I'm sure substituting would still make a really yummy tart (I used standard swiss instead of Gruyere. I also used a frozen pie crust which was left over from the holidays instead of the refridgerated one -- I prebaked it and let it cool, similar to what Giada did. I had to bake it in my convection oven for about 10 minutes longer to get it nice and golden brown on the top, just enough to get the eggs set. I will definitely be making again -- perfect for a brunch too.

It's like making a Quiche Lorraine. I used almost 8oz pancetta which was probably too much, made it a tad to salty but 3 oz would never be enough "meat" in the dish for us. Very tasty, easy to make. We had it for dinner (who says it has to be for breakfast? with crab garlic butter pasta (Williams Sonoma recipe and vegts. It was all delicious!

Not only is this extremely easy to make (prep time is minimal, it tastes absolutely awesome! I did exchange the pancetta for bacon and smoked ham and the Gruyere for an Italian mix of cheeses since my local grocery didn't carry either but nonetheless it turned out wonderful! Next time -and yes, there will be a next time - I will follow the recipe with Giada's ingredients. I saw the show and printed the recipe the same day, made it on Sunday morning and it was gone before I could even get a second helping! Two thumbs up for this recipe! Thanks Giada!!!

Ohmygosh wow! So delicious and yummy, and so so easy to make! Made this last night for dinner along with the almond pancakes, and def would make again! I used hardwood smoked bacon instead of pancetta because it was cheaper, but it still turned out wonderful! My husband loved it and almost ate the whole thing also. I'm not big on eggs, but I would scarf this down in a second!

I watched this episode & immediately printed the recipe & drove to Wegmans to buy the ingredients. I made this tart the following morning for my husband. We both loved it & he almost finished the tart himself. The gruyere cheese was perfect with the eggs & the tart was so creamy inside thanks to the mascarpone. I will definitely share this recipe with friends & look forward to making it again & again. Thanks Giada!
