My husband and I were very excited to try this recipe today but it's not the best I've seen from food network. I followed the recipe exactly.... until I taste tested it - then I started adding wine, salt, more chives, more pepper, anything to put more flavor into it or to mask the brandy - which was overwhelming. In the end, we agreed that we would have been better off just making pasta and dipping the lobster in some clarified butter. It's not a BAD recipe... but it's not what I would say is GOOD either. I'll keep my hopes up for the next experiment.

Loved it! We had leftover lobster so since the lobster was cold I decided to put it in the pan of chicken broth. That way I had warm lobster and the lobster flavor infused the rest of the dish. Would be wonderful with an assortment of seafood for a full seafood risotto!

This was amazing. I used fresh sea scallops instead of lobster and it was incredible. I sauteed the scallops in a separate pan with olive oil, salt/pepper, minced garlic. De-glazed the pan and added the drippings to the Risotto mix. I plan to make this again tonight using beef broth for a pot roast meal I'm cooking.

Wonderful!,!!!!! I have made this several times. I follow the recipe exactly. I have substituted shrimp, scallops and crab meat when I could not get lobster.

Can you say cheesy rice from a bag! I would not suggest this recipe to anyone. It's not not worth your time and far too much cheese, especially with lobster (or any sesafood.

Made this for my husband for Father's Day. Did it all to the letter w/ one exception. I used half chicken stock, half seafood stock to give it more "lobster flavor." He raved and thought it was quite decadent. Dee-lish, and not difficult?!? Definitely a keeper in the recipe box!

I didn't have Brandy so I used white wine, it worked just fine. This was really good!
