This was great gluten free! I used Bob's Red Mill pizza crust mix and baked it a little thicker than I would for pizza. Get it NICE and crispy - so cook it longer than directed. Then cut it up and follow the directions on the recipe. Even better the next day in the toaster oven!

AMAZING!!!! I added a little lemon zest...I was cooking from memory a few days after watching the show. And since Giada uses zest in most of her dishes I decided that I would put it in. This dish is delicious!! I'm making it tonight for some friends.

I made them with a mild fontina and they were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved them. Who needs dinner -- just eat these!

I made these for Mother's Day. Yummy & all of them were gone. I thought it was too garlicky. If I made this again I would just rub the garlic on the toasted bread only. I would not sauté more garlic with the spinach. Crushed red pepper added a good kick. Don't be afraid to use that.
I would make it again w/less garlic.

These were so easy and just amazing!! My husband and I made them as a snack before dinner, but ended up just eating them instead of making something else. So yummy!

This recipe was very easy to follow. I loved the idea of rubbing the garlic on the toasted bread, perfect! The spinach topping was delicious. My only complaint would be the fontina cheese. It was quite expensive to buy and smelled horrible. 2 out of the 5 of us liked the fontina topping, the rest of us preferred a mozzerella topping. That being said, I will definitely be making this recipe again.

This is a winner! Made this a few times exactly as written and always receive rave reviews. Giada does it again! It is a fabulous appetizer or side. Used sliced ciabatta bread from the bakery. The ingredients are a winning combination! Actually, I'd give it more than 5 stars thats how good this is!
