    My neices and nephews actually came up with a brussel sprout song after eating these (I'm not kidding. They have requested them for Thanksgiving again this year (I said I'd make them, but they have to sing the song!. If you can get kids to make up a song about a vegetable they normally dislike and ACTUALLY REQUEST them again for Thanksgiving, that's about as high praise as you can get.

    These are delicious! Our whole family who say they hate brussel sprouts call us for this recipe all the time. We make it for everyone! It is wonderful!!! Don't substitute bacon though, you definitely need the pancetta.

    I loved this recipe and experimented a bit by substituting part chicken stock with some dry white wine. Gave it a really nice flavor. Additionally, right before serving tossed with just a bit of parmigiano-reggiano grated on top!
    WOW --- these were amazing and the only recipe my friends let me make now! Thanks Giada!

    With a number of "things", normally of the veggie category I have done this, with this receipe I have once again. For those who love brussels, like myself, a nice change from the normal "naked" versions, for those who don't care for them makes them tolerable to ok/good, which as much as we can ask. Just make sure not to overcook, can get mushy and loose flavor of brussels.

    This recipe is so easy and it has wonderful flavor. I love brussel sprouts and i really love pancetta with them. Thank you for a great recipe!

    My husband hates veggies and he actually ate these and said that they were OK. I loved them! I used Bacon insted of the pancetta. Enjoy!!

    We like our brussel sprouts tender, so I boiled them longer than what the recipe calls for. I followed the rest of the recipe exactly. This will be a regular recipe at holiday dinners.
