I HATE BRUSSEL SPROUTS...but I cooked this along with another dish so I had to try it. To my total surprise they turned out great. The only change I made was to slice them in half and lightly brown the cut side. This allowed more flavor from the pancetta to be absorbed in side. Its a keeper !!

Besides my husband, (who is a stubborn Norweigan my entire family loved these! I made them for my brother who had never had them before, my mom who said no one could ever convince her to eat brussels sprouts, and my husband. I was really impressed by the taste and slow cooked flavor. Bravo Giada! These are a winner.

I've never eaten brussel sprouts before until I tried this recipe. I can now say I really like it a lot! Easy recipe, needs a little bit more flavor though but it's a good base recipe. But that's just my taste. I made this for Thanksgiving dinner and it was one of the dishes that everyone kept going back for more. Next time maybe I'll add more pancetta and/or garlic. Thanks for the great recipe Giada!

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it including those who claimed to hate brussel sprouts and had to be coaxed into trying it. I actually forgot to add the broth but it didn't matter. I also added a wee bit more pancetta simply because I love it.
I will definitely make this again it is so quick and easy and would go with nearly anything.

This was wonderful. Easy to make, and looks so mouth-watering. Made it for the first time for Turkey-day, not one brussel sprout was left!!! Even the little ones ate it.
