Wow this was just incredible, a real delight for the taste buds! Kept to the recipe but left out the onion in the meatballs and the flavor was amazing, just of enough bite of heat. If want something rich and delish to serve try this one!

Two words - ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Thank you Giada! This was the first time I made meatballs and they were exquisite. I used Lucini Organic Diced Tomatoes in the sauce and Delverde Bucatini pasta. So easy to prepare, yet so flavorful! The only change I made to the recipe was regular mozzarella instead of smoked. I also added Lucini Rustic Tomato Vodka sauce to each dish to give the tomato sauce more depth in flavor. Thank you for another "five star" recipe Giada!

This was such a tasty and excellent meal. I made it for my husband as our 5 year dating anniversary meal and he loved it. It was my first time making meatballs but this for sure is a foolproof recipe! They were delicious and moist! Yum!

Giada, this was awesome! I didn't have everything I needed but I do have an imagination so I had to go with that. I didn't have parsley and tho I know basil has a strong taste difference, I ran out to my garden and grabbed me basil. I know it gave it a total different flavour but as I said I have an imagination so I could tell I will love it with your parsley. FYI, believe it or not the basil was a Great flavour in my meatballs. I also didn't have the smoked mozzarella but it was still great & I will have it next time I make this. Also I loved the ease of the dish. ...and you with Aunt Raffy are so fun to watch!!!! Thank you Giada

Made this last night, delicious, meatballs were fantastic! Couldn't find veal, used pork instead. The smoked mozzerella was great but started to ooze out of the meatball. Also used less salt and doubled the crushed tomatoes. I did use pancetta, but I think bacon would of had more flavor. This is a keeper.

I made these with my home ground beef and pork instead of the veal. added a little tomato paste besides the ketchup (never put ketchup in meatballs in my life but what the heck Used regular mozz. and added water while mixing the meat as has been my habit for 40 years. They are very good. I made my own sauce. Recommend this recipe especially to novices who have never made meatballs-as a guide.

I only made the meatballs but this recipe is the best I have ever made!!! Made the house smell wonderful too! My Hub kept saying the next day how great they were. I'll be making a big batch for the freezer and to give as gifts.

Delicious! I used regular mozzerella instead of smoked. They held their shape perfectly, and had great flavor. I would definitely make again, and perhaps serve in a creamier sauce.
