Brilliant flavors. I served it chilled, in a romaine leaf that acts as a boat, for an outside pot luck! It knocked the socks off the typical casseroles, store bought potato salads and enchilada dishes!!

Terrific. So tasty. No adjustments necessary. Scales down to two servings perfectly. Great as an appetizer before homemade pizza.

I agree that the flavor of this dish is delicious. However, in my personal opinion, it was way better as a pasta sauce than as a salad. It's really light and perfect for summer.

Lovely dish...simple, bright, clean flavors and colors. Calamari must be super fresh. Make this...you will love it.

I just loved this dish. This dish reminded me of Saracusa, Sicily. Even after it stood in my refrig for a few days, I put it over top of spaghetti. Wow, it was great with a little cheese. SO easy to make and so fast. Enjoy.

I made this dish for Christmas dinner and it was fabulous! It won over even the pickiest of eaters. The salad can be made in advance and served room temperature. In fact, allowing it to sit definitely helps the flavors blend together and allows the lemon to mellow, which was overpowering at first. The only tip I would provide is draining the broth into a cup instead of wasting it. My daughter stopped me mid-flow and insisted on letting her drink it. This recipe is a keeper. Enjoy!

This was the first time I ever prepared calamari. This is a great light side dish, especially during the summer. I had some leftovers and tossed it over angle hair pasta the next day!
