I made this the other day as a healthy side option and it was delicious! My boyfriend went back to get seconds and came back to the table with just a plate full of the beans. He said he could just eat those and be happy. Good job Giada! I have to pull teeth to normally get him to eat veggies and put down the beef.

Wow! I know I'm the odd man out here, but I really thought this was an odd combination of flavors. I followed the recipe exactly, inluding fresh herbs straight out of the garden. I thought the flavor was overwhelming. Maybe if I cut back a little on the fresh herbs it would have been okay. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be giving it a second chance. Sorry, Giada. I normally like your recipes, but this one just didn't make the cut.

This is always a go-to last-minute side dish, because most of the ingredients are already in the pantry. Very flavorful and so easy. It travels better if made with chickpeas - they don't get mushy.

I made this for a family dinner and, have to say, it was a big hit. The kids loved it as well as the grownups.
The only thing I changed was I made a little balsamic vinagrette and tossed the arugula in it before plating it.
The next time I make this I will make the tomato / beans ahead of time as they were even better the next day.

For such a simple dish, this packs a LOT of flavor. Done in a flash, a great super easy side dish. I love that it's mostly pantry ingredients that you will usually have on hand. I used dried herbs and it still tasted great! Like all of Giada's recipes....this one's a keeper!

This quickly became one of my favorite, if not my very favorite, Giada recipes! The flavors are so fresh...definitely use fresh herbs rather than dried...it makes a world of difference! I'm making this tonight for supper...yum!
