I made this salad with salmon and the herbed quinoa. It is a delicious salad with good flavors. It does take a little time but well worth it for a special occasion!

I thought it was a bit too oniony but my husban loved it! I give it 4 stars but he gave it 5. I think it's just a tastebud difference. Overall it was very good and easy to make.

I was nervous making this for a dinner party but the results were stunning! The combination of the onion and grapefruit and fennel were fantastic! A real impressive salad that I've added to my regular rotation.

Loved the salad. I made the enitre menu on the episode but felt that overall it was too much citrus flavors going on between the three dishes. I will, however, make this salad again and grill some shrimp or chicken to compliment all the wonderful flavors in the salad.

Loved this salad. I added grilled shrimp and made it a meal. YUM.

I omitted the onions, but the rest of the salad was heavenly just on its own. I highly recommend using this recipe with the two others from this show! My husband was going nuts over this meal!

I loved the combination of the grapefruit and caramelized onions, and the dressing went well with it. I just used a spring mix of lettuce that I had and it still tasted great.

The capers were in the salsa verde on the salmon.

Really great salad. I forgot about the onions but didn't miss them. The dressing was very fresh and flavorful.

Only suggestion is to use one more grapefruit. Cutting the sections is a bit difficult and I felt that I needed more.

And, even though I seldom cook any kind of fish, I'm planning on making the whole menu. I also will have to substitute for the grapefruit (the reason you can't have grapefruit with some medications is because it makes them work _too_ well, but my usual substitution is orange with a bit of lime juice for tartness - not the same, but pretty good anyway.
