Really good but too much bread crumbs for our taste. Fixed it for a romantic dinner with my husband.

Not worth the calories! I used a tablespoon of flour and it was still slightly soupy. Don't think I'll keep this one but enjoyed trying:

What a marvelous change to cauliflower- you'll eat every crumb-guaranteed! My husband never cared for cauliflower his whole life.....until now!

I , too, love this recipe. Simple ingredients and easy to put together. I do agree with the other comments; I am getting tired of all the cleavage on all the shows these days and no, I am not jealous.

First of all Thank You Giada for sharing your delicious recipe's to the world.
And for allowing us into your home. I think you are a very stunning woman and I for one love the way you dress and especially love your hair too.

As for you jealous hens who have nothing better to do, then to "comment" on ones attire..pleeeze, spare us the nonsense!

Do us all a huge favor and stay off the Food Network web site.

    Shame on you.

I can always count on Giada's recipes to be good! On the wardrobe debate, please mom's get a grip, teach your kids to dress in whatever way you think appropriate, lead by example, but let it end there. And don't forget to teach your kids the most important lesson... which is to accept the fact that we don't control other people's choices, most of us commenting and reading on this site are fortunate enough to live in places where we have the freedom to dress as we choose -- remember there are people who think your dress is inappropriate. Your's is the same argument that has women wearing burkas by law, not choice, in other countries. By the way I think Giada looks great, don't change a thing!

This dish is absolutely amazing ... as has been every recipe I have tried from Giada. It's about fresh, quality ingredients coming together to create something special. And just a thought, I think we need to lighten up and not be quite so critical on her attire .... she has her own style and is just adorable ... hardly anything to raise an eyebrow over!

This was good just as is. When using the heavy cream the recipe calls for the sauce is thick enough. With the bacon and breadcrumbs my kids were happy to try it. Dyan~ I have to say I agree with you. I was watching this episode with my 9 year old daughter and she asked me why her top was so low. It's sad when a cooking show turns into a lesson on modesty for your kids. Giada ~we love you, but cover up.

I will for sure try this recipe and sure it will be wonderful. All those ingredients together wouldn't fail. My only comment is more on the personal side. I love Giada and all her recipes, but would it hurt to ever wear a camisole or something under her shirt. Is it just me? or is her attire usually always inappropriate. I know it has nothing to do with the recipe, but please, cover up a bit. I'm not a prude, but letting everything show on just about every episode is growing tiresome.

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to make some adjustments. To insure it wasnt soupy I added a tablespoon and a half of flour and it came out nice and creamy! Also I used regular bread crumbs and reduced it to half a cup. With those changes I though it was a pretty good dish, would make again.
