finally got a chance to make this on a cold sunday pm. in vermont....hard to believe something so good and quick can taste so scrumpious..you have to make it your own though..i put in broccoli instead of spinach also added a little garlic salt to the mix...as for the size of these guys they weren't to big for me well done

I usually serve regular creamed spinach with any steak I make. I served this instead and it made the meal a little more special. I have served this a few times and everyone loves them!

Make sure to purchase the chopped spinach and to drain it. I forgot both, but this still turned out well. The puff pastries were a little pricey for a group of 15, but well worth it. Went over well at the dinner party I prepared for my friends.

The only problem I had making this recipe is that I decided to grease the pan rather than laying the pastry on parchment paper. The pastry is so light that it soaked up the oil from the pan so the bottoms were soggy. I'm sure they would have turned out perfect if I had followed the directions exactly. They still tasted great though and all my dinner guests were impressed.

I made this as a side dish for a board meeting and everyone loved them! It was an easy to do the day before and finish at the last minute. The only down side was the fontina cheese was a little expensive, but it makes a lot.
