This is yet another great recipe from Giada. It couldn't get much simpler, the cheese tortllini and chicken broth make a great combination, topped with basil they're a delicious and simple meal. I find them to be a great lunch, and add in the parmesan crisps from the same episode ... you can't go wrong either. Plus, this is a meal the kids could make on their own with a little supervision. Gotta love that!

It was wonderful. As my husband put it, this dish was "one step above making cereal." We both loved the flavor of this soup!

For being "just tortellini in chicken broth" this recipe is great! It's so easy and way better than a can of soup any day. You can easily experiment with this recipe and add your own ingredients. Try adding some veggies. Serve with bread and a salad for a great meal. I will be making this soup again!

In our home, we entertain at all levels- from attempting to please the picky palates of 5 year olds to fund-raiser black tie entertaining. This recipe spanned that diverse group with great aplomb and review! (The lace-like cheese tuilles were the best part!

My husband asked during dinner if this was difficult to make because he wants this one again! My daughter and her friend had a blast helping me make this.
We added the cheese crisps as well and Wow... Easy and Yum!

I have made this for years. It's easy, quick and always a favorite. I don't use parsley, I use sliced scallions.

It's tortellini. In chicken broth. The parsley and parmesian garnishes are a nice accent, bit they don't disguise that fact that it's tortellini. In chicken broth. That's it. This isn't a recipe. It's tortellini. In chicken broth.
