I used veggie broth since I'm vegetarian, and it turned out great! This is a new favorite easy soup recipe.

Wonderful recipe! I've made this twice since first seeing it done on Everyday Italian.

My first experience wasn't too great. I cooked the pasta too long and most of the broth boiled away. It was also too salty. (NOTE: careful when seasoning your broth--it gets salty -really- quick!

The dish was still a hit, though.

The second time I made this recipe I decided to use some Chicken Proscuttio tortellini instead of cheese. In my opinion it resulted in a much better dish! Everyone loved the chicken version, over the cheese version!

I would recommend putting a bit more chicken broth into the recipe so it's more soup like otherwise you end up with a bowl of pasta and very little broth.

Very tasty with all the fresh basil. My husband loved it and it took no time at all.

This recipe is so easy you can't believe it tastes as good as it does. I found that it is also a good base. If you have leftover fresh veggies or chicken in your fridge your soup is even better!

This is an extremely easy and delicious recipe. I made it without the crisps (because I didn't have the right pan, and it was still great.

I added some left over chicken and garlic. Killer and absolutely effortless.

Watch out if you use store bought chicken broth that it isn't too salty. I added some sauted carrots, celery, and rice to give it more flavour. The tortellini was really good though.

I love when something so simple makes such a hearty and tasty meal. This will be a family staple - even my toddler had seconds. Thanks!
