It's just tortellini in chicken broth. There's no magic transformation. I don't really understand why people have given this such rave reviews; my housemates and I felt it was decidedly "ok". I also made the parmesan crisps using silicone coated parchment paper. It worked perfectly and they were certainly beautiful, but they turn into soggy lumps of cheese if you put them in the soup. I think I'd rather put them on top of a pasta dish.

I loved this recipe. I added a sliced shallot in the begining and finished it up with just a tuch of cream to give it a little more body. Yummy, will make it again next week!

Its so good in taste and smell the tortellini just melts in your mouth and the broth adds that little twist in taste. I recommend trying its worth the time.

    Hi Giada,

I love this Tortellini in Light Broth and I made it 2 times already. It's so easy to make. Instead of using canned Broth, I used chicken boullions it worked good. I brought some to work and made my co-worker try it. She Loved it!!!

This was so easy to make. It was really good and the parmesan crisps added a really nice flavor to it. I added spinach to my soup and tasted great! Thanks Giada for another great recipe!!

Wow!!What a great and easy recipe for a good warm up. I made it on a cold day and my family was impresed how easy it was and how great it tastes. We made some cheese bread with it and it was very tasty and I made it on a weekend as a quick lunch.
    Thank you Giada!!!

This soup was so quick and tasty. And if unexpected guests arrive a little more stock is all you need! Great!!!
