    This recipe is so simple to make and yet absolutely delicious! Try adding diced chicken and sausage to the mix....yum

    I've been making this recipe for years and it's delicious! If the smoked mozzarella is too much for you or for your company, you can exchange it for regular mozzarella or any similar cheese of your choice. Giada's recipes are perfect for me, a younger working person, they're usually quick and easy, yet the final presentations would make people think you spent all day on it ;

    Oh my God! This dish was absolutely amazing. I have never written a review before, but made hundreds of food network dishes. I used apple smoked mozzarella, and added scimeca's hot italian sausage. It was absolutely incredible, by far better than many italian restaurants I go out too. Two thumbs way up Giada!

    Was okay, a little bit too much cheese as I followed the recipe used the cheese tortillini and cheeses on top. Would probably follow the recommendations next time and try it with another type of tortillini or with ravioli.

    This was just okay, a little bland.

    This was a good dish that was quick and easy to prepare after work, however it was a bit on the salty side and I cant believe I'm going to say this but a bit too cheesy as well! I would definitely try this again but add more marinara sauce, less cheese on the top, and maybe substitute with chicken stuffed ravioli next time.

    Pretty amazing. Always a hit for pot lucks and works well with ravioli too.

    The fresh thyme is an absolute must! I truly think it makes the dish. However, I use a light hand with the smoked mozzarella since a little smoke goes a long way with me. I take little pieces and scatter them across the top lightly, instead of covering the whole thing in slabs.

    For anyone who's having trouble finding smoked mozz, check Whole Foods. They keep it under the packaged sliced deli cheese (not the packaged cheese in the dairy, and not in the gourmet cheese section, but in baskets under the deli meat and cheese. Why are there 3 locations for cheese in WF!? Anyway. It's sold in plastic-wrapped balls. Hope that helps.

    I've made this recipe several times. It's easy and yet passes as a special dish. I didn't really like the strong smokey flavor of the smoked mozzarella, so I usually use provolone. Sometimes I layer it so that there are two layers of the cheeses--especially when I double the recipe for a group. I'd have given 5 stars instead of 4 if it hadn't had the smokey cheese, but I realize some people probably love the smokey flavor.
