I made this other other night for a quick 1 pot meal..it was a total hit with my family. I couldn't find smoked mozzarella but I used fresh and it turned out great.
I will definetly be making this again and again.
Thanks for the great 1 pot dish.

Yes, I'll be the 294th person to review it and say how super yummy this is!!! Good as is, but here is an idea for modification that we really liked: Added two COOKED links of Italian Turkey Sausage pieces to sauce and mixed with dish before baking. This was to make a more satisfying meal. We think the mozzarella should be shredded, instead of sliced. Also added a little red pepper flakes to give it just a little kick. And we forgot to add the parsley, but it was still great. Love, love, love this dish!

I made this at a friends house for 3 kids. It was very quick & they loved it. If I had left over chicken or frozen veggies, I'd even add that in for an all in one meal for them.

We made this during a "snow storm" and it was very tasty and had the three best food groups: cheese, pasta and pasta sauce.

A great recipe. I made this for an at home dinner date with my girlfriend. To be honest, I made a few changes to suit our tastes just a little bit better. I doctored up my sauce quite a bit, adding a number of different vegetables. Onions, zucchini, carrots, etc. make great additions. Also, since we both enjoy a bit of spiciness to our pasta, I added some red pepper flakes. They definitely gave the finished product a wonderful flavor. The fact that you can add so much extra to this recipe makes it even better. I would recommend that you do the same.
P.S. I also used fresh mozzarella instead of the smoked. Turned out fine.

Very easy to make. The only difference was that I used fresh mozzarella instead of the smoked mozzarella. I also added some portobello mushrooms by frying them some evoo and then added it to the dish before baking. I boiled my cheese tortellini for about 5-8 min. Don't be afraid of the mascarpone cheese it has a very mild flavor to it. This dish was also amazing the next day!

I made this last night and my husband and son LOVED it. I did use regular mozzerella for my son. It was just what we needed - fast, easy and very yummy!!!

I made this dish on a Sunday evening because I wanted something fast and easy.
I didn't have smoked mozzerella or thyme. So I used fresh mozzerella and oregano. It tasted like a cheese lasagna. So next time I make it I will add spinach.Great dish and easy too!
