My husband and I loved this recipe. This will not be the last time I make it. Leftovers are excellent!

This is by far the best stew I have ever made or even tasted for that matter! My husband raved about it as well and can't wait until I make it again. This is a great recipe for beginners too because it really is easy to follow and you can't go wrong! If anyone is thinking of making this - do it!!! You'll love it . . . even in the summer. Really good with rice added later too.

On a recent trip to a local italian resturant My husband and I had a "homestyle" dish the chef called his specialty, It had tender beef, tomatos and stew vegtables over fresh wilted spinach and lasangna noodles, My attempt to recreate at home failed till I saw you make this on a rescent show work out perfect! Now my family has a new favorite, finally topped the Italian sausage and peppers on crusty rolls !!

The Chianti Marinated Beef Stew was absolutely wonderful. My Italian husband saw the recipe and mentioned that this is what he wanted for dinner for Father's Day;off to the store I went for the ingrediants! The recipe was very easy to follow, once everything was in the dutch oven I left it for a few hours and it came out perfect. My whole family including my own Dad enjoyed it very much. Leftovers were even tastier.

I MADE THIS RECIPE FOR MY IRISH HUSBAND BUT WITH THE ITALIAN TWIST ON THE CORNED BEEF...I THOUGHT IT WAS FANTASTIC AND SO DID MY HUSBAND...
THE ONLY THING I WILL CHANGE WHEN I MAKE IT AGAIN, IS I WOULD INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF GREEN BEANS TO EVEN IT OFF IN FLAVORS.....THANKS SOO MUCH!!!!

The recipe produces a loose, unsophisticated, overly salty, bland result. I added crushed back plums to the wine for sweetness and finished the sauce with a slurry but the recipe still failed in value and taste.
