This sandwich is so delicious - I roasted three fresh chicken breasts & sliced them up, enough to make four sandwiches. I loved the fresh pesto, amazing! I also used naan bread instead of pita as it's softer, yum! A keeper-recipe.

This was outstanding and very easy! I didn't have any cooked chicken on hand, so I used canned chicken instead. The lemon added a nice crisp flavor without being overpowering. My husband looked at me and said, "why can't everything you make be this simple?".

Really yummy and so easy. I mix the tomatoes and the arugula leaves into the chicken mixture before putting it into the pita. I'll have to make arugula pesto for pasta now - I find basil pesto can be too strong for me.

I made this today for my family and we all loved it! Even the picky eater liked it. I found that 1/2 cup of olive oil is too much! i only used about 1/3 of a cup. i didnt have fresh parmesan cheese so i used the kind that comes in the bottle, and we didnt have any rotisserie chicken so i just boiled some chicken breasts. i also used an extra clove of garlic. very yummy!

I made this for lunch yesterday and I LOVED it! So good!!! Loved the arugula for the pesto...nice change..This is a great sandwich to take to work for lunch.. I also added a little garlic, since my family loves it. Does anyone know where I can get the cute scalloped metal colander she uses all the time? I've searched everywhere and can't find it. Thanks!!

I made this for lunch for my husband and I and we both loved it!!! I loved using the arugula to make a pesto, it has a distinct peppery flavor. This has all the flavors that I love, I made this a couple weeks ago and have been craving it ever since. I will definitely make this again and again!

Very tasty pita! My 9 year old who is super picky would NOT eat it because it was so green!! My 11 year old said it was ok but it was no Steak & Potatoe! My husband & I loved it. So this is definetly an Adult meal. I think it has too many flavors for the kids.

I saw this episode of Giada at Home and decided to have a picnic that night with my husband. I was a little concerned that my husband wouldnt like it since he is so picky! He loved it! Since I read some other ratings I found that some said the flavor was a little bland so I made sure to taste as I went, adding salt when needed. I also put in 1 and a half cloves of garlic and it was perfect! I also put the chicken salad on scali bread since my hubby isnt a fan of pita pockets. This is something I will definitely be making again! Thanks Giada!

This is a solid dish - I will definitely make it again.

It could use a bit of saltiness though - I'll probably throw in some chopped olives in the pita next time with the tomato and lettuce.

    Otherwise, very good.

This dish just needs something to me. It was okay, but nothing earth-shattering. I probably won't be making again. I'm a huge Giada fan and was disappointed with this dish.
