I made this last night and I was looking forward to left overs for lunch before I even finished eating! I used white pita's instead of wheat, but I did everything else exactly as the recipe is written. This is a wonderful way to use up the left over rotisserie chicken. I have some of the arugala pesto left over and plan to toss it with some pasta tomorrow. This is one of those recipes that I don't think I will be modifying because it is just soooo yummy just the way Giada does it!

My store didn't have arugula yesterday, I live in a small town. I decided to use pre made basil pesto instead. I also don't like mayo so I substituted sour cream. My 2 teen daughters & I devoured all of it! Can't wait to try it with arugula!

Giada, Thanks so much for this wonderful chicken salad!!! My husband, who HATES mayonnaise loved this one because I made a batch for him without it. I made my batch with it - BOTH were wonderful. It's hard to find a chicken salad w/ out mayo so I gave it a try. Bursting w/ flavor - we loved it. This is a definite keeper for anyone's recipe box!

i did not care for the flavors of this recipes. i followed it to the T but mine ended up with too much olive oil and it tasted too peppery for me. Does anyone have a suggesgion because it looks great but maybe I did something wrong. I usually love all her recipes but this was too strong of flavors for me.

The pasta dish from this recipe is Penne with Treviso and Goat Cheese and the lunch bag is called a BUILT brand lunch tote.

She made a pasta dish with spinach and goat cheese on the show but I don't see the recipe here. Does anyone have it?

This is one of my favorite recipes! It is perfect exactly as written; I wouldn't change a thing! The lemon zest adds a really nice flavor. Mixed greens work about as well as plain arugula, if necessary, and it's important to use real mayonaise (no miracle whip for this recipe!.
