I just don't know about the sweetness of the maple syrup. It was still a hit and all pieces were gone, but I think I'll try it again without the maple syrup. The presentation was beautiful though. Now I just need to find another recipe for the rest of the head of red cabbage.

Very light and definitely on the sweeter side.

I loved this recipe! It combines sweet, tart, crunchy, savory. I served this with Endive leaves and crostini at a party last night, and I have gotten 6 emails this morning requesting the recipe. I wouldn't change a thing. If you aren't a big fan of lemon, leave out the zest. I used 2% Greek yogurt and low fat sour cream.

I thought it was a great alternative to traditional chicken salad. I could not find endive so I used napa cabbage leaves instead. It was good to think I was eating a healthier dressing without all the mayo. The added sweetness of the dried cranberries was perfect. I'll make this one again for sure.

This recipe wasn't very good. The maple syrup ruined the recipe. I wouldn't recommend. I had to remake the salad and use sesame oil instead. Not sure how anyone else's turned out but this recipe needs to be reworked.

Although the addition of dried cranberries was a nice touch & the fresh ingredients are healthy, this dish was overall disappointing for a few reasons. I made it exactly as written except I didn't add any chicken. My husband thought this was too lemony & I agree with him. I thought the dressing wasn't rich enough & didn't have a creamy enough mouth feel. Not a keeper.

Many layers of flavor. Love the presentation and the flavor. Not sure it needs the chicken.

Saw the episode this morning and thought this would make an excellent light, fresh summer meal. It was really delicious. I served it inside romaine leaves for a lettuce wrap style since it was part of our meal. Quick, fresh and very tasty!

Very tasty, very quick, very easy. Like a cross between cole slaw and carrot and raisin salad, but better than both. The cranberries and maple syrup make it sweet. The lemon juice means that it does not have a vinegary flavor. I did not add chicken or endive leaves, but it was memorable nevertheless, as a side dish.
