I made this recipe but changed a few things and made it low fat. First I forgot to buy green onion so I used a small yellow onion, sauteed that with some garlic and the chicken. I added just red bell pepper to that mixture. I then used three whole eggs and four egg whites. Used a lite sour cream and low fat ricotta instead of whole milk and creme fresh. I added about two tablespoons of grated parm also. Baked it for about 40 mins. It was fantastic. Loved it very much, I will make it again and again.

I finally tried this recipe and thought it was very boring. I was also disappointed that I paid $4.99 for a small container of Creme Fraiche only to find out that Creme Fraiche can be made with Heavy Cream and Buttermilk. That was an expensive lesson. I made this recipe exactly as written but I feel it needed something else. The person who wrote bacon thrown in was on to something.....

This has been in my recipe box for a while, and I finally decided to make it. I don't know why I waited so long. It turned out wonderfully.

I am not a huge egg fan, but those in our house who are thought this was great. It was fairly easy to make, turned out fluffy inside and crisp outside, and really looked nice on the plate with all the color.

I used green bell pepper instead of red because it was what I had on hand. Was a little too peppery and scallionie for my taste, but definitely worth making again w/ tweaks.

This was a really good dish, and was easy to incorporate different ingredients to mix up the flavor. I used canadian bacon to make it more of a breakfast item, along with garlic because my family LOVES garlic. The cooking time was alot longer than it was supposed to be, but just keep and eye on it! (Sour cream also works instead of the Creme.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD, EVEN WITH A COUPLE SUBSTITUTIONS. I CHANGED OUT THE CREME FRAICHE FOR SOUR CREAM AND THE RICOTTA FOR COTTAGE CHEESE. EVEN BETTER THE SECOND DAY!

I adore Giada, but when I made this recipe it was extraordinarily bland and flavorless, and I followed her istructions to the letter. The finished product looked beautiful, but it was tasteless and heavy; it definitely needs to tweaking and some flavor to jazz it up. Next time I am going to try to add some goat cheese and sauteed shallots and gsrlic, maybe with a little bacon thrown in.

This recipe was bland. If it had more flavor, perhaps cheese, it might have been better. The peppers added a nice flavor, just not enough flavor.
