I love Giada's recipes, but this one lacked taste. We added some salsa over the top to help it out. On the positive side, it was very easy to make and looked great too!

I love her show and many of her ideas but I agree with the others--there is no way this should have a 4 star rating. It was bland and dry...I doctored it a bit but nothing much could improve it after baking.... Maybe ham vs. chicken and frying up some onions, or some 1/2 and 1/2 would help but rather than mess with what she billed as a quick and easy dinner I would skip making this.

I think I might have cooked this too long as it was a little dry. There were places, especially in the middle that looked watery, so I probably cooked it 35 mintues and then broiled it another five. I also thought the taste of the roasted red peppers was a little overpowering, so if I make this again, I will use less and maybe add some additional flavors like chopped garlic.

Very tasty. Thought it would be good to add cheese. I forgot to and I am glad. It definately didn't need it.

This is the only recipe I've made of Giada's which simply doesn' work. I took the advice of others and added garlic - but is this ever bland and boring!

It was easy to make and you can add anything you want to it!! I used sour cream instead of Cream fraiche and it worked. My only little complaint was that after the 25 minutes - I turned the broil on for 5 minutes thinking it was done - and it wasnt. It looked so yummy coming out of the oven. When I sliced into it, it was a bit watery. So I just put it back in (oven 375 Deg for another 10 minutes and it was perfect thereafter. I have a professional cooking convection oven (brand new too b/c I just built my home last year and so I don't think there is anything wrong w/ my oven. I'd say leave it in for 30 minutes rather than 25 - or definitely check w/ a knife. Overall GREAT DISH! I will be making this again!
