I thought I could tweak this recipe to goodness with some garlic, feta, and spices. Nope. Still very, very bland. I'll have to figure out what sauce or salsa to cover it with since I hate wasting food.

I was a little surprised after reading all the reviews for this recipe (which I read after making the dish When I made this I made a few modifications, I used one extra egg, I boiled 2 boneless chicken breast (rather then using rotisserie chicken I added sliced baby portobello mushrooms and I used PART SKIM Ricotta. All the ladies I made the Frittata for LOVED it. I didn't have any complaints, actually everyone went back for seconds. I would make it again! Thanks Giada!

I read the reviews before trying and made some modifications. I used only 4 eggs, added 1/2 cup milk and sub sour cream for the creme. I also used Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs cheese and Alouette Creamy Onion & Shallot spreadable cheese instead of ricotta. Everybody who tried it said it rocks. It's a keeper. I will try this with other kinds of pasta.

I recently served this dish for a lunch I hosted at my house. The meal tastes great! I had to substitute the creme fraiche with sour cream because I could not find a local market that carried the cream. However, the meal came out a bit runny and not so much with a pie-like consistency as it looks like on the photo (or during the show. I would recommend this to anyone...

I bought the ingredients before reading the reviews, then read them and decided to make it anyway. I used Mexican Crema b/c I couldn't find Creme Fraiche. I made sure to use a roticery chicken for added flavor. In anticipation of blandness I added garlic and bacon. The finished product was, alas, still a bit dry and bland. There was a bit or two with some flavor, but I probably won't make it again.

After reading other's reviews stating this dish was bland, I decided to make it my own by making some changes. I cooked the orzo in chicken broth which added more chicken flavor. I used cottage cheese, heavy cream and some sour cream in place of the ricotta and creme fraiche. I also added parmesan cheese into the mixture and sprinkled some on top. Outstanding!!!

I really enjoyed this. It was light which is most important to me. With a side salad, it is the perfect dinner or lunch. Great kids meal too!

I followed the recipe exactly, and it was completely dry and bland. I usually love Giada's recipes, but this went in the trash. Do not make!!!

I never would have thought of adding orzo to Frittata but it was a nice change, its gvies it a different mouth feel. I can't wait to Mexicanize the recipe by substituting crushed tortilla chips, cilantro and jalapeno.

I ONLY EAT EGGS ONCE A WEEK AND THIS IS A WONDERFUL WAY TO GET PROTEIN FROM BOTH THE CHICKEN AND THE EGGS. THE INGREDIENTS ARE HEALTHY AND GREAT TASTING AND I CANNOT WAIT TO TRY THIS RECIPE.
