I just made this dish tonight. To continue the debate in the reviews, I used creme fraiche and part skim ricotta. I think the richness was right. But, I think that the dish (on the whole was just okay. No one aspect of the composition stands out as disappointing. I just didn't think that the recipe shined. I would not make this again. But, if I were to, I would broil the dish for only about 3 minutes. I might bake it for a few extra minutes too. The center of the frittata was just a touch looser than the rest.

The recipe is good but needs tweaking. I used heavy cream instead of the creme and cheese called for. also, i used 5 eggs instead of 6. i added basil, garlic, mozzarella and parmesan cheese to the mixture; i then sprinkled shredded cheese on top of the recipe. the recipe alone seems bland but with some modifications can be very good.

I made this for my son's first communion. I used left over rotissere chicken and it was fantastic. Definite rave reviews. Thanks Giada for another keeper.

While the recipe was very easy to make, it was bland and flavorless. If I ever make it again, I'll probably add an extra ingredient or two for some added taste.

I usually love Giada's recipes...this was a waste of time and ingredients. It had no flavor.

This is the fourth time I tried a recipe from Giada and again, I did not like it. In this recipe the flavors just don't go together at all, it is bland and dry.

I usually love Giada's recipes, but this one was bland, despite the rather large amount of salt it calls for. In addition, the finished product gave me indigestion! I was disappointed, but it won't stop me from trying more of her yummy recipes!

I've tried many of Giada's recipes and have loved most of them. When I read that other viewers considered this bland, I decided to make it anyway -- my husband and I enjoy mild and delicate flavors. But this really was more than boring. I would never make it again, or recommend it to anyone else. With that said, I would certainly try other Giada frittata recipes that have zippier ingredients.

This dish is so flavorful and easy! My kids(who are pickyabsolutely loved this dish, they kept going back for more! I even made this after reading all of the unfavorable ratings. I only added carmelized onions and garlic. Thanks Giada for a wonderful receipe!

My finished dish looked really pretty, and the texture was great. However, it was quite bland. Definitely needs something to spice it up.
