Very good! will make it again. I doubled the recipe & used crushed tomatoes. I did miss the mushrooms. Next time I will add mushrooms. my whole family loved it!

Very good! Missing Mushrooms and I usually add a bit more seasoning but this works as a basic sauce. I never add bell peppers to anything but I did add one can of tomatoe puree and one can of diced peppers then cooked them down a bit to reduce the liquid and then added the browned chicken, I then cooked up two italian sausage links that I had left over spooned some of the sauce in at the end to give the flavor of the sausage to the sauce and transferred the sauce and sausage into the orginial pan. ( I cut up the links into small pieces prior to the transfer. Adding a bit a mozzerrella and parmesean to the end on top of fresh pasta and you have a deadly good combo

Delicious and true to the old-school Bronx-Italian food I grew up with and love. My great-grandmother actually made the dish with rabbit and that was some serious eating! I threw in a big handful of chopped parsley but only because that how we make it. Orzo or rice to soak up the sauce and your golden.

My family needed a change on the chicken. After looking at the reviews I decided to try the recipe exactly the way Giada indicated. Oh boy was my family happy which made me happy. This recipe is a keeper.

Fabulous! What a nice, light, flavorful sauce. I made it exactly as shown. A definite keeper - and great leftovers, if there are any!

I give this 4 stars. I would give it 3 stars as I thought it was average. Hubby gives it 5 stars; he thought it was packed with flavor and a good dish for a cold rainy night. I thought the sauce a little too thin, but I did agree with hubby that it was very flavorful. Will probably keep recipe handy and cook it again.

Great Recipe! I used some fresh Roma tomatoes (peeled and diced, added extra chicken broth and tomato paste, and left out the wine since I unfortunately did not have any!

We didn't particularly like this recipe. The chicken was a little soggy and not real flavorful.
