Nothing special about this recipe - just the usual chicken with tomato sauce. Still , it is nice to have an hot hearty meal that is easy to prepare.

I reviewed several other Chicken Cacciatore recipes and this one seemed the most simple to make. The chicken turned out moist and was falling off the bone, maybe because I let it simmer for 1 hour. I used roasted red bell peppers instead of a fresh one and it still turned out great.

I made this dish last night, and it was very easy and delicious. I did not have red pepper and it was very good without it.

This dish is excellent. I substituted tomato sauce for the canned tomatoes because I didn't want to run out in the cold to buy some. And, it was still fabulous! It was easy. The only thing that was not easy was waiting for it to be done. However, it was well worth the wait, too!

This was a good dish. I thought the chicken dried out a bit too much for my taste (I used boneless skinless The sause was yumm and I had some left over.

Easy and worth the effort. We think its' best enjoyed on a bed of basmatti rice and with a side of asparagus.
