I really enjoyed this disk, making it, preparing the ingredients, etc., etc... My total grocery bill was around $30-$40 for this dish. It prepares nicely, but the only thing I didn't really care for was the flabor of the sauce. There just wasn't enough flavor for me. Perhaps I will need to tweak the recipe a bit and figure how to get just a little bit more flavor in the sauce. Other than that, it really is a good dish and it's easy to make.

Great recipe! It was fairly simple and absolutely DELICIOUS!! The chicken is just perfect for the pasta. The only difficulty I had was in the prep stage. I'm a beginner cook so it took me a while and leaving out the egg whites took a litle getting used to. I used thin spaghetti (not angel hair instead and left out the almonds and basil. The lemon zest on top was a great addition. I will definitely make this again!

A very rich pasta dish -- easily one of the best I have ever had! I made 1/2 the amount & it could still feed a family. Highly recommended! (better to use fresh pasta too!

Very good recipe. For those of you who are concerned about your waistlines, try adding egg beaters and fat free half and half. I got the idea from a Cooking Light cookbook. It turned out really well. Still tasty!

I made this for my boyfriend and he loved it! I have to say it was the best carbonara I've ever had. I simply cut the ingredients by half ot make it for two people, though we did have an extra portion, makes a great lunch for work, just "wake up" the sauce with some milk or cream prior to re-heating. Highly recommend!

I was really looking forward to making this after I watched Giada make it on the show. It turned out pretty easy to make, and I really enjoyed the taste. It did make a whole lot of food though and it was just me and one other person. I've got a lot of leftovers. I'm gonna cut the recipe down a lot next time I make it.

This was so good! It really was a cinch to make, and the flavors and heartiness of the dish were excellent. My boyfriend told me that it is his new favorite dish, and the best dinner I have every made. Thanks Giada!
