I've made this several times and it's always a huge hit! I usually cheat a little and buy the already thin-sliced chicken breast and use italian bread crumbs to simplify the chicken breading. Cooks up quickly enough to make on a busy weeknight and is delicious and pretty enough for company.

First time I have cooked with Fennel and Mascarpone Cheese. Shut the Door that was Good! Also served it with the Fried Smashed Potatoes with Lemon. Husband and I liked it very much. Why go out when this is better than going out and paying $20.00, for not as good.

Wow!!! My husband RAVED about it all throughout dinner. He couldn't believe I made something so good. He even said that for our next dinner party, this was the meal!!! It was so simple and easy too.

Absolutely delicious! Never cooked with fennel before or have eaten, but it gave the dish such a great taste. Put recipe in box and will use again and again. Husband loved it too.

This is amazing and so gourmet like! I was out of cherry tomatoes so I used regular tomatos but squeezed out some of the seeds. I also made pasta to serve with it. Reserved one half cup of water. I drained the pasta and poured the reserved water over it. I poured the sauce over the pasta and placed the chicken on top. Next time I am going to try adding mushrooms after the leek is browned. The mushrooms create moisture so that will add more flavor too. Try it you want be sorry. It would be perfect for a dinner party.

I saw Giada make this one day and I thought, "I like chicken, fennel, and tomatoes! I'll try it!" And I was NOT disappointed. I about died when I tasted the sauce straight out of the pan. It so rich, creamy, and truly delicious. I served it to my best friend, who I always cook for, and he decided this was definitly one of the best things I've made for him. Needless to say, this dish has been made more than once in our kitchen!
