How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. This is absolutely my favorite barbecue sauce. It is so different in flavor than anything you can buy in a bottle, and it really isn't difficult to mix up yourself...and the result is mind-blowing. So far, I have only tried this sauce on chicken, since we don't eat much steaks. I have tried it with outdoor and indoor grilling and even in the oven. It is always delicious, perfectly tangy and slightly sweet. Usually, I pump up the garlic by adding 3 cloves, since we are garlic-fanatics in my home. Other than that, I don't bother to change this recipe, because it is perfect as is, IMHO. I always receive compliments and requests for more. My mouth is watering now....Thanks, Giada!

This BBQ sauce is awesome and the chicken came out perfectly moist. I made mine in the oven and served it with the orzo salad from this show. It was out of this world!

This is an absolutely amazing keeper of a recipe and it is quite easy to make. I think I enhanced the sauce by adding 3 or 4 cloves of garlic and to spice up the sauce with a mild spicy flavor, I add 1/8th of a teaspoon of Grace Hot Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. The resulting flavor hits the entire palate but is not overpowering. Great compliments whether used on various grilled chicken dishes or grilled beef loin.

I made this last weekend for my boyfriend. I made the sauce the night before and I'm glad I did b/c it took FOREVER to get to a sauce like consistancy! I cut the vinegar to 1/2 cup so I don't know why it took so long, but it could also have to do with my stove.

I baked the chicken in the oven and cooked it for about 20 min. He really liked it and I think I will try it again!

Tried this recipe for the first time last night and I loved it!!! The sauce was great. It tasted sweet, not smoky and that's how I like it! I baked the chicken in the oven because our charcoal grill would've taken too long to fire up. I'll be making this again!
