Compared to restaurant-style chicken parmesan, this tops it off! When you have the traditional breaded, fried, chicken...it seems soooo filling. With this redcipe, you can take it to a whole different level. It's light, simple to make, and the entire family loves it. I made this for some close family friends who despise marinara sauce. When they ate it, they asked for extra. It was so good!

We found the recipe when we started eating a low-carb diet, and we have found that regardless of carbs this is the most delicious way to prepare chicken parm! The fresh herbs are incredibly flavorful and the chicken comes out moist and tender. I have never bothered to make the tomato sauce, I always use our favorite jarred sauce to save time. Great to serve company, they are unlikely to ever have tried it. Yummy!

I made this dish tonight. I subbed veal cutlets for the chicken. It was good, but didn't knock my socks off. I fixed the simple sauce, it was good but I expected it to be better than it was. If I make again, I think I'll add some tomato paste at the end to thicken. Bottom line : good but not amazing.

i have made this recipe many times. My family loves it! I use my own sauce (I always make large batches and freeze in containers and always double the recipe so we can eat it for leftovers. I chop all the herbs toss them on a plate with salt, pepper and olive oil then I dredge the chicken and sear them in batches.

This recipe was SO good. I was a little weary about a chicken parm that wasn't breaded but this was even better!!! My favorite part was the Simple Tomato Sauce - and it really WAS simple. I have never made my own sauce before and I had no problem making this one. My only regret was that I didn't have more sauce leftover to freeze!!! I made this as a dinner for me and my boyfriend with a side of angel hair pasta. He was so impressed with how good my sauce was that he couldn't stop eating it. I won't let him know how easy it was. I will definitely be making this again and I am going to make this my go-to sauce from now on.
