Ingredients
Directions

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour and shake off excess.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with 3 tablespoons olive oil. When butter and oil start to sizzle, add 2 pieces of chicken and cook for 3 minutes. When chicken is browned, flip and cook other side for 3 minutes. Remove and transfer to plate. Melt 2 more tablespoons butter and add another 2 tablespoons olive oil. When butter and oil start to sizzle, add the other 2 pieces of chicken and brown both sides in same manner. Remove pan from heat and add chicken to the plate.

Into the pan add the lemon juice, stock and capers. Return to stove and bring to boil, scraping up brown bits from the pan for extra flavor. Check for seasoning. Return all the chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove chicken to platter. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter to sauce and whisk vigorously. Pour sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley.

Huge hit with both my husband and teenage son. Made extra for leftovers, but everything gone!<br /> item not reviewed by moderator and published
Amazing! made a few adjustments after reading review..just to personalize taste. added 1/2 lemon juice, 1/2 cup of white wine and 1 clove of garlic. The chicken was so tender it melted in your mouth. Served it to company and cannot wait to serve it again!! item not reviewed by moderator and published
This was so good. My hubby said, on a scale of 1 to 10, it was a 12. I put the chicken in the oven to keep it warm, not back in the sauce. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I serve this over a bed of parmesan pasta and got rave reviews item not reviewed by moderator and published
I love, love LOVE this recipe. There is a typo, the recipe should read 1 cup of chicken stock as Giada says in the video, not 1/2 as listed above. My grandma usually puts about a tablespoon of garlic and 1/2 cup of diced yellow onion in hers, giving it a little more flavor. (She also uses Taylor dry sherry in the sauce). I am a chicken piccata connoisseur, and I always ask for extra sauce and extra capers. Absolutely refreshing dish! item not reviewed by moderator and published
Easy, fast, &amp; fantastic taste! I didn't have fresh lemons - so I used bottled lemon juice - still just great. Can't wait to make this for company. item not reviewed by moderator and published

A big hit with my Mom (a great cook) who said she has trouble getting Chicken Piccata just right. I used a bit less of the fat (Just one round of 2 Tbsp unsalted butter and 3 Tbsp of olive oil for 2 large breasts of chicken) and only 1 Tbsp salted butter at the end for the sauce. Delicious! item not reviewed by moderator and published
Could I make this a few hours in advance of dinner? How should I reheat it? item not reviewed by moderator and published
