I followed this recipe, and it was awful. I must have done something wrong because it has so many good reviews. It was so lemony, tangy and greasy, that I could not eat it. I rinsed the capers, three times, but they were very strong, and the lemon made my family pucker!

No need to find any other chicken piccata recipe - this one is as good as it gets. I love the tartness of the lemon with the butter flavor and saltiness of the capers. This was so easy and the cooking times were perfect - not over or under done. I didn't have fresh parsley, but I don't think that would have added that much to the recipe. Plate licking good!

I LOVED this recipe! As a new cook, I was nervous at the thought of breading my chicken but this was incredibly easy! Giada is my go to chef for any recipe, and chicken piccata was no exception. I will keep coming back to her for more! I made the chicken as written and my boyfriend and best friend loved it! I served it with three cheese mashed potatoes and oven roasted red onions that I drizzled and tossed with a bit of the sauce as well. SO GOOD! We also sipped on a glass of Chardonnay and it complemented the flavors perfectly. Overall a must try!

When I say I don't cook, I mean NEVER EVER! That being said, I was pretty petrified when I decided to attempt making this dish. Much to my surprise it was incredibly easy and my boyfriend thought it was delicious.
I'm not a big lemon fan, so I took the advice of many posters and significantly reduced the amount of lemon juice--I put in about 1/4 cup. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed brocolini, this meal was simple, quick and yummy. Give it a try!

I followed the recipe to the T and my family felt the sauce was totally overpowering. Also once the chicken was put back in the sauce to simmer for 5 minutes, all of the flower began to get soggy and gross even though it was a light coat. SO disappointed :(

This recipe is almost fail-proof. I make it often! Use thin cutlets of chicken. Also, I never use as much butter or oil as she does and it works just fine. Sometimes I sprinkle in some red pepper flakes for a hint of heat. I'll make this recipe forever!

This was great! I made it for my parents and boyfriend, and they all loved it. I cut down the lemon juice just a bit, from 1/3rd, to 1/4th of a cup, and added a bit more butter. I served the chicken over orzo, and it was fantastic. While eating at quite a nice restaurant the next day, my boyfriend whispered, "I liked your chicken better." : So, this is a winner!
