This recipe was literally gross. Gross is an understatement. I made it exactly as the recipe called for and the smell was nauseating. Seriously, i didn't want to eat the pasta i had with it simply because the smell of the chicken beside it made me want to vomit. I'm not pregnant, and I generally have no sensitivities to smell when it comes to food this sauce was just pungent (even though I washed off the capers as Giada did in the video. Giada's recipes are usually delicious but this one was trash-- literally after one bite WE THREW IT ALL AWAY.

I absolutely love making this dish! I do deviate from the recipe slightly. When I take the chicken out of the frying pan I put it in a baking dish cut fresh slices of lemon and put it in the oven on 300 for 10 mins. I also add more broth and a little bit of corn starch to thicken the sauce! I always make double if not triple of the recipe! This tasty dish can be eaten twice!

Super yummy. Next time, i would not add all the lemon juice, it was too acidic for our liking but it was delicious and simple !!!
Highly recommend it.

I loved it! Followed the recipe except for 3 things -- added garlic for 1/2 min before i deglazed the pan, added a little bit of white whine (just because i had it, and used half the lemon juice. I'll definitely make this again.

This recipe is incredible! I love that it has very few ingredients, but is so flavorful. Yes, it has a strong lemon flavor, but that is the point. I followed the recipe exactly, but I did not put the chicken back in to simmer, that would ruin the nice coating. Let the sauce thicken a bit, the added butter at the end will help with that. I served it with a 4 cheese risotto and asparagus and got rave reviews from my husband and mom too.

Good but you can make it better. Great basic recipe but it did not WOW me. As the other reviews state some garlic and white wine make this recipe a real winner - add these while making the sauce. If you are concerned about butter I have used Smart Beat or Benecoyl and it was still very good. No need for the last bit of butter.

This was delicious - however I thought the recipe could have used a bit more broth. I would double down on the chicken stock just to make sure it doesn't dry out.
