I love this recipe. I just made it for the third time & decided I would add 2 small parmegianno reggiano rinds into the pot. WOW! This is a must try for all you PR fans... Thanks again Giada for another winner. YOU ROCK!

This stew is delicious and wonderful for a cold day. It's very easy and quick to make. I doubled the recipe and froze the leftovers. Definitely a keeper.

This was my first attempt at making a stew (I am new to cooking!! and I cannot believe how easy it was! I actually made mine in my crock pot instead of on the stove because I had more time. It was so nice to just chop up some ingredients throw it in the crock pot and not have to worry about dinner!! Thanks for the great recipe!

This recipe is delicious. I did, however, make a few minor changes. I added some red wine and garlic to enhace the flavor of the sauce. I also added a can of white beans and some chopped zucchini. The zucchini soaked up all the flavors of the chicken and sauce. I rarely make recipes over, but I will make this one again very soon.

I have always enjoyed making and eating Giada's recipe's but this recipe would be so far to date the only exception. I followed the recipe to a 't' and the final result was average to OK. Against my better judgement I wanted to add 2 cloves of minced garlic to the onions/carrots/celery but witheld. Some other reviewers added garlic with better results and other reviewers echoed my rating as "missing something." I will try this recipe again and use the garlic and perhaps something else like crushed red peppers and or hot sauce to help "spike it up."

I found this stew to be tender and flavourful. I did add garlic and a dash of red wine.
This reminded me of a stew my mother made as a child that she let simmer for hours and hours!! Well done Giada!!

When I saw the demo on the web site, I thought the recipe sounded pretty good and easy. It was not only good & easy, we have had it now three times in the last four weeks. It is definitely a new family favorite. As legume lovers, we add a can of garbanzo beans along with the kidney beans. I've now read many of the reviews, and may try some of the modifiers for a change. I can't understand the person who said the soup was watery, maybe she/he forgot to leave the lid off when simmering..?

Anyway, thanks for the great timesaver & new comfort food.

This Stew was so tasty and so easy to make. My husband loved it! I bring it to pot-luck suppers and it's a hit!

The stew did not taste like a stew. The soup is very thin. It did not appear as it did on TV(thick and yummy. It taste very bland. It is a big disappointment for me, as her recipes usually taste pretty good.I did not like this recipe, and will not make it again. I don't know what she is talking about, when she said "this is going to be the best chicken stew you will ever have." Well it is not. Can soup taste even better than this recipe. I am not happy with this recipe at all.
