Very good, but my husband and I like our food a little more spicy. I added garlic and Chipotle Tabasco. Very tasty.

Excellent dish, only added corn. Can't wait to cook the next meal from Everyday Italian.

I just cooked this recipe and it turned out great, the taste was like yum. lol. With the crusty bread, it made the soup very good. I would recemmend this recipe to all my friends.

I had to try this delicious sounding recipe. I always take the basic recipe and give it a little twist with ideas. With this one, I added black beans instead of kidney which gave the stew wonderful color and thickness. I also added garlic (a must and some swiss chard....though any fresh green will add substance. After mixing all ingredients I let it simmer in a slow-cooker for a few hours. I doubled the total amount made and between 3 people it only lasted a day. This is a splendid winter dish that adds warmth not only to your tummy, but throughout the house as its being prepared. This is one that has quickly become a favorite!

Simple dish that turned out very tasty due to the herbes de Provence, garlic, and additional bay leaves.

Talk about a comfort food, this is it! Very easy to put together, you only have one pot to wash, and the taste is out of this world!
The only change I had to make was using dried basil, because my supermarket was out of fresh basil that week. So I can't wait to try the fresh basil and see if it tastes even better. Manga!!

I was very worried about the kidney beans, we're not a big fan. But they stay firm in this recipe. It's so delicious, and the chicken is so nice and moist. I put it over egg noodles!
