    I made a double batch and everyone kept taking bowl after bowl while watching The New England Patriots win the AFC. Everyone wants me to make it again in two weeks when we watch the Patriots make it a DYNASTY at Super Bowl. A healty feed!

    THIS IS AN EXCELENT AND EASY STEW, GREAT ON A COLD DAY. I TOOK IT A STEP FURTHER AND GRILLED SOME CORN ON THE COB THEN CUT IT OFF THE COB AND PUT IT IN THE STEW. IT ADDED A NICE CHARD TASTE TO IT. THIS ONE IS A KEEPER, THANKS GIADA.

    I thought this chicken stew was delicious. But I have to admit that I thought it missed some kind of extra spice or flavoring besides adding more salt. I did add garlic like some other reviewers suggested but wondered if maybe fresh thyme would have been better than dried thyme. Overall, my family loved it and it was such an easy dish to cook for a Sunday meal.

    So easy - made this during a recent snow storm. the house smelled great and it tasted great - even my 4 year old loved it. We doubled recipe for freezer and extra pepper for spice. Served over rice for a gumbo like stew.

    This recipe is really good. Instead of crusty bread, I had basmati rice. Very simple and very satisfying.

    The taste of this would good and I would definetely make again. Next time I will use chicken thighs and add some extrac carrots to make it more like a traditional stew.
