This is a very easy, healthy and delicious recipe. Great for a cold winter day. I also added garlic.

Love this and have made it several times..with and without potato, cannelini beans, kidney beans, garlic. I've played with others suggestions and BEST SO FAR for me is browning chicken with a bit of Montreal Steak Seasoning..(be careful not to use too much...it's spicy, then saute double the vegetables in same pan, adding minced fresh garlic just before done. I prefer kidney beans over cannelini and think that potato distracts from the rustic flavor.

Giada, I love you. This recipe was great--just what I was craving on a cold fall day! I subbed some bell pepper and zucchini for the celery, since I didn't have any on hand, but I think it speaks to the strength of the recipe that the flavors work around whatever veggies you have in the fridge. I will be making this one again!

Really great recipe. I did make some changes, we like spicy food. I did add garlic like the others suggested, used leeks instead on onions. For the spice I added chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Seared skinless boneless chicken thights. I didn't want the chicken to dry out. Its almost like chuncky chicken chilli.

Added more veggies. Love the recipe! My 5 year old and my husband loved it too. What little was left over, after the feast, was great the next day for lunch.

Love this recipe. Only change I made was to add bacon which gave the stew more flavour. Will definitely make it again.

Absolutely delicious! I usually don't make things like this but was in the mood for some comfort food and this hit the spot! Very easy - just added some garlic (about 2 large minced cloves as others did and it was perfect!

I used chicken breast chunks & cannellini beans. Also added a few cloves of garlic & some dumplings at the end! Slightly bland & too watery/runny for me - I prefer a thicker, tastier stew.
