I used soy milk instead of regular milk and half and half instead of whipping cream. I also used margerine instead of butter. This dish turned out exactly the way Giada's looked but I did not think it was that great. Especially noticing that over a thousand people have commented on this... It is not my favorite from her.

It takes a lot of time- but definitely worth it. Very rich and creamy, I was full after half of a serving. I agree with other reviews that maybe I will try to slim it down with lower fat milk and cream. Bravo Giada!

Most of the butter can be cut from this recipe (I used non-fat cooking spray to coat the pan, and saute the chicken, mushroom and onions - skipped the butter on top all together and used 2% milk instead of the whole milk - still turns out amazing! soooo goood - definitely worth the time!

Definitely worth it. This recipe isn't necessarily difficult, it just takes some time. I did all the prep work before so that everything was right there when I needed it. I kept the water for the linguine hot and added the pasta during the last 10 minutes while I was waiting for the sauce to reduce. The linguine was very el dente and though I would never serve it that way, I knew it was going in the oven at a pretty high temp. It all came out perfectly. Will make this again!

I tried this recipe the other night and found it to be very tasty. I have used another chicken tetrazzini recipe before but did not have as much flavor as this one.

Saved it to my recipe box before preparing the recipe, but plan to remove it. We're foodies who, on the weekend, cook new recipes together as a hobby. We ate it and thought it was okay, but didn't think it was a truly memorable 5-star dish. Side note: prepare the pasta cooked less than the recipe says because the additional 25 minutes in the oven results in a pretty stodgy bite to the spaghetti.

Very tasty! I used German Spaetzle instead of linguine and asparagus instead of peas. Absolutely delicious!!!!!!
