This is 2nd time I made the dish and I have to say the 2nd time around is a charm! First time, my kids loved it, but this time, they went NUTS over it! I didn't follow the recipe exactly as I am not a huge fan of the fattening white sauce. I used my own combination that equaled 5 cups: mostly skim, some whole milk, fat free 1/2 & 1/2, chicken broth & MAYBE 1/2 cup at most, of heavy cream...all in that order of quantity. In any event it took a bit longer for the white sauce to thicken in the saucepan, but it came out fantastic. Not too dry or thick. Also, I used Trader Joes, spiced linguine as the pasta. I cooked it 2.5 mins and it added incredible flavor to the dinner. I think you have to improvise on the spices/salt with this dish, otherwise it can be a bit bland. I have to make a dinner next week for a family that is dealing with an illness and this is the dish I am going to make! Enjoy!

The dish came out way too dry and not as creamy as I wanted it too. I also ended up putting lots of parmesan cheese in the sauce to make it more flavorful. Next time I think I'll just do a heavy whipping cream and parmesan cheese type of sauce instead. Probably will not make again because it is too time consuming!

Maybe I am not a big fan of chicken tetrazzini, but it turned out mediocre. While there was flavor, the entree tended to be too creamy and a hoshpodge of ingredients. Dish is time consuming to make.

Super tasty. Fun dish took cook. Used penne in place of linguini. Also used chicken tenders for a little less chicken, favoring the pasta and sauce.

Loved this recipe. A little time consuming, but not as bad as some others Giada has. It was super creamy, so I am not sure what happened to previous people that said it was dry. Delish! makes a lot more than I was prepared for, but way worth the time and effort.

Absolutely amazing!!
I doubled this (one 9x13 and 2 8x8 dishes for a Progressive Dinner at Christmastime. It was a huge hit. Doubling it was a bit of work, but well worth it. Even better the next day!

It is a great recipe, but for all that think it gets to dry, just cook ur pasta alittle more than al denta so that the pasta doesnt absorb as much sauce. Hope this helps. Happy New Year to all and especially to Giada for the great recipes

Tried Giada's recipe today using leftover TG turkey instead of chicken. My family's recipe has always been a favorite in our circle, but with some minor mods Giada's will now be our norm.
In addition to replacing the chicken with leftover roast turkey, I eliminated the peas (not needed and added parsley and parmesan to the sauce after removing from the heat. Really liked the bread crumb cheese topping. The dish was very creamy and didn't turn out dry in the least and had tons of flavor. Served with delicious stuffed mushrooms.
