Was easy to make, fairly quick and tasted wonderful. I amy adapt the sauce to use with pasta and veggies.

TO GIADA I LOVED THIS RECIPE. I AM A MALE OF 44 AND HAVE MULTIPLE SCLEROCIS AND HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF TROUBLE WITH HANDS AND MEMORY BUT CHICKEN VESUVIO WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN MY FAMILY AND I LOVED IT FOR ONCE SINCE BEING DISABLED I MADE A MUI BELLA DINNER PLEASE EXCUSE ANY SPELLING DIFFICULTIES.THANK YOU SO MUCH. I cooked this for me and my husband. Tired of the same old chicken what a dish. My husband was so surprised I cooked it. It was real easy and the recipe was esy to follow.

Very flavorful dish. I substituted carrots for the artichokes. Everything was so tender, and juicy. Excellent for a chilly day. A nice alternative to stewed chicken.

I've been wanting to make this chicken vesuvio ever since I first saw Giada make this. Well, I finally did two nights ago and "WOW"!! My husband loved it, and of course I loved it too. The flavor of the chicken,potatoes,artichokes, and wine were just delicious. Giada's recipes are so easy to follow due to few great ingredients, instead of ten thousand. I used some breast pieces also, but will only use thighs next time. Breasts get dry, while the thighs are more moist and flavorful. Anyway, you all have to try this one, it's a keeper!

this recipe can use a little more spice, add a little more garlic than it says. the chicken is tender, juicy and everyone really liked it. i baked the potatoes separately as the recipe was a little confusing on that, the potatoes were wonderfully crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. the artichoke sauce was really good too. this recipe goes in the keeper box!

I whipped this little number up tonight. I was wowed by its simplicty and thought it's taste was perfect. I truly was awe-struck by the power of so few ingredients. I will be making this dish often and I can't wait to entertain with it.
