This is a great recipe, saw Giada make it yesterday and luckily had everything in the house to make it last night. I really like tarragon with chicken so I substituted that for the oregano and thyme. I also used twice as many 6 chicken thighs and cooked everything in the oven for 40 minutes. I don't have the creuset pot that Giada uses and realize I could use my corning ware large casserole dish instead in the oven.

This chicken is wonderful and very flavorful. I love the potatoes and I used the artichoke hearts instead of the lima beans. Next time I am going to add mushrooms and use chicken breast instead of thighs. Great recipe!

The flavor is great - I have made it several times and love to sop up the sauce with some crusty bread.

This is one of the best chicken recipes I have ever made. I have passed the recipe on to friends and family who also love it. It may take a while to prepare but it is worth it!!

I make this dish all the time and it's one of those dishes that need nothing else but a loaf of bread.

OK, I have over 20 years of cooking and restaurant experience, including being a private chef for two of those years. With that said, I can honestly say this was the strangest tasting chicken dish I have ever tasted...in a bad way. The dried spices clashed, background flavors were suspect, no flavors married in any way. I literally fed the chicken to my 2 dogs (they loved it, threw out the rest and made a pizza for my husband and me. A shame. I can say however that her Chicken Romano is one of my husband and my all time favorites.

I live alone and made the recipe to see if I would make it for friends for dinner. Yes, I would, however I would something for color a the end such as Italian Parsley. I used lima beans and the sauce was tasty. I will try it on company and serve it with garlic spinach.

I made this and served it with bread and a good wine. That is all you will need. Wonderful

I've made several of Giada's recipes with success. This one was colorless, tasteless, and vile. A big disappointment. I'll never make it again. I did follow the recipe.
