It was really good but a bit heavy; I love marsala without the cheese sauce; definitely not worth the extra calories. I am giving it 4 stars because if you love richer foods and mascarpone than I would highly recommend this dish for you.

Delicious sauce!! I had to slowly cook chicken in oven after first browning it in skillet, as it was too thick to cook in the time allotted in recipe.

Agree it is to die for but it does need some very slight modification. I sensed 2T of Dijon was too much and took out about a teaspoon or so and glad I did or, like another reviewer noted, it would have been too strong. And you could easily sub cream cheese and a little whipping cream for the mascarpone. Also thought the sauce was too thick so thinned it out with homemade reduced chicken stock. I made the sauce ahead so final prep would be easier and after cooking hte breasts I added the stock and reduced in half then added the sauce. Used plain button mushrooms which worked just great. I also had mushroom duxelles on hand so threw in a T of that. If you haven't ever made duxelles, get a recipe and make them and pop them in the freezer. Use them in any recipe that would benefit from a little intense mushroom flavor. It's one of my secret weapons. Buy the mushrooma at Sam's or Cosco and it very economical. This was a fabulous recipe!!!

Lately I have been inspired to cook delicious homemade recipes. Lastnight I follwed Giada's recipe for Chicken with Mustard, Mascarpone, Marsala Sauce over Fettuccini. Let me tell you, this recipe is devine. I cooked the recipe step by step for my In- Laws. They could not believe the taste of this dish or how little bit of time it took to serve. It is very easy to follow and it is a great way to show your love for your family. Thank you Giada, you have inspired me on Italian Couisine.

My sister is an amazing cook. She made this for a dinner party. I couldn't get enough of this. It was sooo yummy. The only thing she did different, was she used a teeny tiny noodle instead of the fettucinne (orosco? It was AMAZING! Perfect dish to impress your friends.

I can't say enough good things about this recipe. It's absolutely amazing and probably the best thing I've EVER made! The first time I made it, I was skeptical (especially of the Dijon but it was so rich and decadent. My husband is an executive chef and he loved it. I've made it for several other people since and every single person has been completely blown away by it. I'm actually surprised to see unfavorable reviews, but I guess people have different taste. If you like mushrooms and you want to feel like you're dining at a 5-star restuarant, make this!!

This recipe was good, but not great, and in my opinion, it’s not better than a regular chicken marsala recipe. I tasted more of the dijon flavoring than the marsala wine or the mascarpone cheese. Given the high cost of mascarpone cheese, we probably won’t make this again. Disappointing.
