I am the type of person who could live on butter and brown sugar so these tasty treats were right up my alley! Recipe could not have been easier. After the first batch was in the oven I made a second and added 1/2 cup of PECANS. Played around with the cooking time and found the pecan taste is enhanced with increased baking time.

These cookies cooled much quicker when I pulled the parchment paper (and cookies off the hot pans onto a cool counter top.

Yummy cookie!!! So easy to make...I whipped them up in 5 mins! I think a cookie like this should be crunchy so I would bake the until they are darker brown vs. golden brown. The cookies are a little too chewy for my taste when golden brown. Definitely going to make these again. Thanks Giada!

Phenomenal cookies. My daughter always watches this show. She saw these cookies and BADGERED me to get the ingredients to make for the girls at her lunch table. Giada De Laurentiis is a chef that can produce things for the enjoyment of all ages.

Very easy cookie to make. They were good but not great. After the first batch I only cooked them 12 minutes because they were too brown. I had a little problem with the chocolate as well. I used choc. chips so maybe that is why. Still love Giada though.

I made these cookies right away, and they didn't disappoint. I accidentally purchased unsweetened coconut, but considering all the brown sugar, I think it was the right choice. The cookies weren't too sweet. Definitely use parchment paper because it will help eliminate any additional grease that you would use on the cookie sheet. I did these in batches because I have only two cookies sheets, but I slid the parchment paper off to let them cool as the other cookies cooked. I had some trouble drizzling the chocolate, but that is probably because I melted it in the microwave. I used only 2 oz of chocolate. I will definitely be making these again.

I love sweet but these just tasted like brown sugar and butter. Would not make again.

These were amazing! They turned out perfectly and were so delicious, it was hard to keep from eating them all myself! Will definitely make again. They were a big hit with the family.

These were AWESOME! I made the first batch immediately after watching this tivo'd episode. Only negative is that it made 12 cookies - not enough in my house!! I immediatley made a double batch after the first one. Only change, I used a teaspoon to measure them out. These are really easy, fancy looking and really really good!!
