These cookies are absolutely delicious and so simple to make. This recipe has become one of my top 3 favorite cookie recipes.

Excellent cookie! Very European, very Italian. Not overly sweet as most Americans believe every dessert must be to be good. Made them for a high school bake sale and they FLEW off the table! Heard many comments of, "Finally, something different!"

Decided to make these cookies after watching the episode with Giada...after working out all week, I like to award myself with something chocolatey...these did the trick. Easy to make, I think I should have maybe checked their doneness a bit sooner, as I think they were slightly dry. Don't get me wrong, I ate about four as soon as the additional powdered sugar went on, and well...a few tablespoons of the cookie dough (must admit...that did not disappoint either. I would make them again!

These cookies are soooo good!!! I make then all the time. The texture is so different from other cookies, probably because of the confectioners sugar, its really good. I dont use pine nuts, I use walnuts instead because they are my favorite nut. Recommend trying this recipe! SO GOOD!! GREAT!

Very good not great. Not too sweet, probably not good for children expecting a really sweet treat. Very good with milk or espresso.

Every recipe that I've tried of Giada's has been awesome! And this remains to be another winner! I was worried at first when I made the batter but I found the cookie...and the batter to be delicious! I can't wait to make them again!

Giada you have done it again! These cookies have great chocolate flavor and like traditional italian desserts they are not overly sweet. This recipe is a keeper.

These are wonderful cookies and super easy. Not too sweet like so many recepies, and very chocolatey. I added some white chocolate chips in addition to the semi-sweet and pine nuts and they are excellent. If you're open to other flavors of cookies besides just 'sugar' you'll love these, and if you bake them right, they wont be overly crumbly.
